Appareance

Bright golden colour and creamy, consistent foam.

Flavour

It has a mild intensity scent, with a base combining banana and apple with certain hints of floral hops. The retronasal aroma upon drinking enhances the hoppy notes and a nuance reminiscent of cereal appears.

Bitterness

On the palate it has a pronounced bitterness, with a medium body and dry texture. It has a persistent bitterness, though short and pleasant.

Hops

In the production of our organic beers, bitter varieties of hops are used, from the main production regions of the south of Germany (Hallertau, Spalt, Tettnang, Hersbruck), cultivated following European regulations on organic production.

Malt

Pilsen malt, which has a low level of toasting, produced from European two-row spring barley, from organic farms. During malting no products have been used which cause modifications, growth alterations or which may be incorporated into the grain.

Yeast

The yeast causes the slight aromas of banana and apple. The only nutrients of the yeast are those which come from the organic malt used to produce the wort of our organic beers.

Pairing

San Miguel ECO is a lager beer with reduced alcohol content, with a light and refreshing aroma of hops, which makes it an ideal beer for accompanying aperitifs or cold dishes such as pickles, salads, marinades and all kinds of seafood.
