Wayne Adams and Catherine King have devoted the last 20 years to a lifestyle so unique it brings visitors from all across North America.
Both former artists, the pair grew weary of the constraints of their old lives and set about building a floating “freedom cove” – a sustainable and 100% eco friendly haven in British Columbia, away from the stresses of built up cities.
The couple both live on the island, making a living by growing fruit and vegetables to sell in local towns. They’ve even managed to raise a family in their unusual home, which is anchored on the Pacific coast and comes complete with a lighthouse.
Unique in almost every way, Wayne and Catherine’s pink and teal home stands as testament to their dedication to living with and understanding nature.
