Not studying architecture, design or construction didn’t stop Takashi Kobayashi and his team pursuing a passion to build incredible structures in the Japanese forest. Now 22 years and over 120 tree houses later, their intricate craftsmanship has earned them the prestigious title of Treehouse Masters.
Inspired by how birds build their nests, their stunning tree houses are spectacular displays of how design and nature are at one with each other. The public are welcome to visit and explore the creations, as “Everyone enjoys the scenery together and can get away from ordinary life.”
Takashi and his team believe that connecting to nature is one of life’s richest experiences. For them, true wealth is found by creating structures that blend the boundaries between man and the natural world.
