“I wanted to do my part and use my photos, videos and voice to bring awareness to those few “living treasures” that still exist.”

Laura had wanted to explore different cultures for as long as she could remember and she felt that life wouldn’t be complete without discovering a lost civilisation before she died.

Today, from her base in Los Angeles, she travels the world, documenting artisans across the globe who practice what she calls the “vanishing arts”.

Her travels have taken her to meet the Long Neck tribe of Thailand, who wear brass rings to lengthen their necks, and a 90 year old Balinese man who is the last remaining flute carver of his kind.
